C-C-FREE Presets 1



C-C-FREE Presets 1 is a collection of 59 free Presets for the Air Music Tech Xpand!2 Virtual Instrument. These Presets were created by myself, CHRISTOPHER CARMICHAEL. Enjoy. They are completely free for you to use, commercially and non-commercially, but you do however need to have a License to use the Xpand!2 plug-in, so your usage of the presets should follow that License Terms, but I'm no legal expert, so I can't make much of a legal statement about it. I know I can give you all FREE Presets. Happy music making, etc.. Sorry, I don't know if these Presets will work outside of the Windows Version, but I think they might.

Xpand!2 might have a price of $99.00 or less if it's on sale. I've seen it as cheap as $1.00 (and FREE sometimes) on some of the Plug-in shopping websites, like Plugin Boutique, or Audio Deluxe. Xpand!2 also comes FREE (I think) with Pro Tools First, which is also FREE, but you need an iLok Account in order to use both Xpand!2 and Pro Tools First. You also need an AVID Account to use Pro Tools First, and for a while you also had to be connected to the Internet to use it, but I think as of now, you actually don't have to be connected to the Internet anymore to use it, probably just to activate it to your computer or iLok dongle. Also, the Pro Tools First version of Xpand!2 might only be useable with Pro Tools First ONLY, and I'm not sure if the Presets will work with that version, sorry.

These presets were made on the 64-bit Windows VST®2 version of the Xpand!2 Virtual Instrument. I'm not sure if the Preset File Format is the same on the Mac version, but I think it is. To "install" the presets (as of 10-19-2020), put the Folder titled "C-C-FREE Presets1" into your Xpand!2 Presets Folder (on 64-bit Windows 10 Pro at least, where I created and tested them on) at C:\Program Files (x86)\AIR Music Technology\Xpand!2\Presets

NOTE: WHEN "INSTALLING" PRESETS INTO YOUR XPAND!2 PRESETS FOLDER, IF YOUR FOLDER NAME IS TOO LONG, YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO BROWSE THE PRESETS WHEN USING XPAND!2. IF YOU SHORTEN THE FOLDER NAME, THEY SHOULD THEN WORK. I ALREADY SHORTENED THIS "C-C-FREE Presets1" FOLDER NAME BECAUSE OF THIS, BUT MAYBE FOR SOME REASON THIS WOULD HAPPEN TO YOU SO I THOUGHT I WOULD TELL YOU. ENJOY!
